Broccoli Casserole

This recipe for broccoli casserole is a tradition in my family. We often have it at Sunday dinners at my Grandma's house. This recipe can be made in advance and reheated at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.


Broccoli Casserole
Serves 8

1 bag fresh broccoli
8 ounces medium cheddar cheese, shredded
16 ounces cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1/2 of an onion, diced
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup bread crumbs

1. Cut broccoli into large pieces. Discard steam.
2. Combine broccoli with eggs, sour cream, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, onion, oregano, salt, and pepper.
3. Spread mixture in large casserole dish.
4. Top with bread crumbs.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until slightly browned on top.
